Journal of Pharmaceutical Microbiology emphases on infections caused by parasites, bacteria, virus, and fungus. Pharmaceutical Microbiology is the combined field of Microbiology and pharmacy, wherein study of microorganisms that are related to the production of antibiotics, enzymes, vitamins, vaccines, and other pharmaceutical products are detailed.
It majorly studies the causes of pharmaceutical contamination (Pharmaceutical product contamination with microbes) and Spoilage. Pharmaceutical microbiologists focus heavily on quality control to ensure a supply of life-saving drugs and vaccines that are free from contamination by micro-organisms.
Pharmaceutical Microbiology is an applied branch of Microbiology. Other aspects of pharmaceutical microbiology include the research and development of anti-infective agents, the use of microorganisms to detect mutagenic and carcinogenic activity in prospective drugs, and the use of microorganisms in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products like insulin and human growth hormone.

Two independent reviewer’s approval (Minimum reviewer’s approval) followed by editor approval is obligatory for acceptance of any manuscript excluding an editorial.
